Default kfx 700 v force...a beast?

Who said that their prairie 650 couldn't beat a 400EX in a drag race? Although the prairie has
a claimed lower top speed than th EX it will destroy a 400 up to speed and will hang with it top end. I have even raced a banshee with my p650 and it was a dead heat up to about 50,
and lets not forget that although the banshee isn't the fastest anymore, it is still the quickest.

I also have a question about the new ignition box on the kfx700. When this machine comes out will I be able to get one for my prairie and what kind a power increase are we talking about?

700cc V-twin and an auto.... could end up being a great dune machine if they gear it high enough..
man... Do they even make a sand paddle with enough "bite" for that??

I understand the the kfx700 C.D.I. box won't work on the p650, but 1Bearman, who is Diamond G Racing, has one coming out by christmas for the p650, hopefully.

My guess and it's only a guess, is that it will add 8-10 MPH to your top end, with a lot more power from 5,000 rpm up through, if you have the diamond g snorkel, K&N and jetting so the bike can breath.

Around $300.00, he should sell mirrors with it, so we can watch the other bikes fade back.

Shotgun,
Thanks for letting me know. I see that dynojet has different stage jet kits available. What stage would you recommend? Also are they hard to install or is it something that I can probably do with some basic mechanical knowledge? As for the K&N filter do you think they help much because a buddy of mine has one in his p650, and yet my machine will slightly edge his every time. Somebody also said something about adjusting the cvt, will that be a concern with the new CDI? I know this is a lot of questions, but I"m very interesting on doing some surgery to my p650 in order to shut up some of my friends with racers, plus you seem to be the authority on p650's.

Crankdog, do some searches in the Kawi forum. You will find a ton of info. I think Dyno Jet has only a stage one kit for the 650, but it seems to cover the basic mods such as a pipe, filter and airbox mods.

thanks for the kind words, but I'm far from an authority on p650's. Talk to Nyroc or some of the members on this forum. They know far more than I do.

I think the stages kits you are talking about are for motorcycles, only one for p650 that I know of 134591 @ $109.00

If you want to kick some a$$. get a K&N and a Diamond g snorkel with the jets. Next get 1Bearman's C.D.I. box when it comes out, also nyroc has a good pipe on his site.

If that doesn't do it, then PM me, we'll talk about the 750 kit, bigger carbs, port and polish, and NOS.

Thanks again,
