700 Kawasaki ... I kinda like Kawasaki's
Take this as you will . I have been around Kawasaki stuff for years , I hoarded three-banger stuff til the 90's .. I maintained a fleet of Kaw invader sleds til 1998 .
Any of you folks going to buy one of these quads ? (hell I would)
I have been so busy doing polaris 400's , and love them as I do ... I want something else to work on .
The 700 Kaw will never be a winner at national races , it is simply a muscle quad , and in a straight line , few machines will muscle up .
Anyone looking for a great weekend cruiser with an attitude will be at home on one of these new Kawasakis ..
My question is , do I get one and get it quicker , or , find something else to tinker with ?
Tell it to me straight .

Rick,
Get one and work your magic! I would love to see what you can make one of these things do! I have heard nothing but positive feedback on your work. I think it maybe worth your while to branch out a little more by adopting a V-Force. I think you would have a huge following, especially since a lot of the work you may do to the V-Force may also work for the Prairie 650.
While we are talking about Kawi's, what can ya do for a Lakota?

Do you think the cdi from the V Force will work in the P650, many people have said that the P650 is seriously detuned and that the original cdi Kawasaki made for it makes it scream. Also, has anyone came out with a new cdi for the P650, again I had heard that several companies were working on one but nothing has been released. I am seriously considering getting a P650 in a couple of months and this would be nice to know. So....anyone heard anything.

Rick- I am getting one when they come out. I have more than 13k in the rappy. I will mod the 700. Looks like a quad that 30 plus year olds will buy.I know that the 12 people over 30 that have raptors in my group have no trouble spending the $$ to make them faster.

Dirthead;
As to your question, I've heard that the cdi box on the 700 will not work on the p650.
So far there are two chooses, buy an engine management system from Halteck, around $1200 or wait for 1Bearman, Diamond G Racing, to come out with his cdi box, around $300, in December.
Wait for 1Bearman

Rick I think that is what my wife will end up with after there second run. We been talking about and she likes but says I cant modded it, (thats what she said about the last one hehe).
Stebob Rick does honda and yamaha to plus others.
I think it is gonning to be a killer dune quad (without to much jumping) and a great drag race im starting to like the idea of no chain to mess with. But if Polaris comes out with a 700 scrambler i think I might have to stick with Polaris.
