Prairiedust, I got the black spring at Adventure Motors in New Glasgow. Just ask your dealer if they deal with Gamma sales out of Ontario. They're a distributor and deal with EPI, so if your dealer deals with them they can get it for you. It cost me 50 dollars by the time I got it.

Were you on gravel when you raced? If so, you should put it in 4wd and then the launch should be better w/o the loss of traction from wheelspin..... the black spring is made for the bigger tires (that's epi's explanation for the black spring) it will drastically help.

Thanks for the info mudseeker, I wasnt sure if the dealers could get them.
To answer bigtimearchers question, the first try was from a dead stop in two wheel drive on gravel, the next try was with both bikes in 4x4. The results were exactly the same each time, THE DAMN GRIZZLEY BEAT ME by about a bike length.
Thanks for all the replys, I am going to order one tomorrow.

PrairieDust,
You have 27 vs. 25 Inch tires and about 60 lb. more rubber. Big disadvantage. ...And you are racing the best quad on the market. No spring will help you. Put 25 inch stockers back, if you wanna win./obviously thats the most important thing in your life right now..lucky you/.
