Default Any information on Progressive front springs?

Does anyone know if you still use the original plastic dust covers on the front struts if you install the progressive springs? Also if anyone has installed these did it raise the front of the quad up any. The front of mine just doesn't seem to sit as high as it used to, when I compare it to other 650's.

I really like the springs. Gained back about an inch of height over stock with the preload set soft. Handles alot better also. My dust covers are still on; in order to NOT use them you would have to cut the cover about an inch from the top and still use the the top section. The top of the dust cover is what holds the spring in place.
