I put a warn 3000 pound winch on my 650 the other day. The winch is great but I wonder about the sturdyness of the whole mounting set up. I was winching the hook up to the fairlead and gave the "in button" one last blip to tension the cable. The winch really torqued up in its mount, it went back down when I let the cable back out but it had to of moved about an inch, is this normal? Are these mount sturdy enough for a 3000 pound winch? I thought that the shop bolted it to the frame??
