Where the heck did the name for your town come from? I just noticed...Bumpass!? How does one pronounce that phonetically? I have seen alot of funny town names and this is definitely one of them!

 

BUMP *** !!!!!!! No joke that's how you say it....I live in Louisa County in Virginia about 35 miles from VA's Capital of Richmond! Back in the bonnies!! But it's okay though cause there's lots of country to ride in. There's also another section of my county called Cuckoo!

 

Actually i think Bumpass was somebodies name....There's a guy that lives here and everybody calls him Old man Bumpass! So i guess that's were it came from I don't know!
