P650 start up question
I take mine hunting up in the high hill country in Texas, where it is not uncommon to have 20 degree mornings. This method works every time. Again, full choke, hit the starter switch till you hear it actually running, then let it warm up. You will hear it start to "choke down" after it warms up. Then, turn the choke off. It should idle fine from there.

P650 start up question
If I do not touch the throttle, my bike WILL NOT START no matter how warm the weather is. I start my machine exactly the way Monte SS stated. I would like to start it on choke without pushing the throttle and let it run on choke for a min or two, then take off choke, hop on and ride!
