'01 Prairie 400 handlebars?
#1
How difficult is it to adjust the handlebars on the 400? Mine don't quite line up while going straight; they have a bit of a left tilt to them. It has been that way since I bought it but is starting to get on my nerves! I also had the Loc-Tite treatment then replacement done to the steering "knuckles" but they crackling is starting up again. Any ideas? thanks, rick..

You straighten the handlebars by adjusting the tie rods. Check the toe while you are there.
Clean the loctite off the bearings and knuckles, then use loctite 638. I suspect that the shop only used the loctite thread locker, or did not clean them well. 638 (I think) is the high strength part retaining formula. There is a primer for it too. Get it done right.
Don't ride it for a couple days after you redo the loctite.
