hey guys and girls,
my lakota wont stay running. i start it and it runs for a little while then stalls.if you hit the gas at any point it stalls,and if you go to start it again it wount start.i almost ran the battery otu. i start it with the choke out. it almost sounds like it runs out of gas.i checked the fuel line its not clogged but could it be the carb.anybody have any ideas what is wrong. i think it might be the carb,im going to check it out this weekend.

the censorship on this board makes it hard to reply to this message,

check the needle & seat in the carb, if it sticks it is running out of fuel,
check the pilot jets are not gummed up

this is where I'd start..
you may want to check float level as well, but this something that would not keep it from running if it was not adjusted, as long as it was close to spec, or not changed from stock settings..

check to see if your vent hose on the top of the carb has a kink in it. I had a similar problem and that was it.
