Cool pics, "The Goat" looks awesome. Murphyslaw is that the front racing fender kit? Or did you paint/cut the original? Ive been trying to buy some nerf bars for my Lakota but I cant find a site that has them for it, where did you buy yours? Keep up the good work on your quad, it looks great!!!

Your quad looks graet realy coming along.
All the chassis components to include the plastic for the mojave fits the lakota as well. there are nerfs by DG that seem to be the best, the kawasaki brand need the foot fences to stay in place.
Now that the Lakota isn't offered any more I thought I would be one of the last few that have one to talk about. Very inspiring to see yall still modding them.
If you would like to see one with white mojave plastic with NAC 250 R graphics go to 98 lakotas pictures he has a cool one as well.

The front plastics are Maier that I got for $120.00 to my door. They are Lakota/Mojave race plastics. I wanted to keep the light so I didnt get the smoothy hood, I used the stock hood and the stock back. I liked the blue white combo. I put Lakota graphics on it but I am a printer by trade so I am going to make new graphics for it. Everyone sells these plastics but for different prices, make sure you shop around!

LisaG: How do you like your DG nerf bars? Do they seem sturdy? Do they bolt to the pegs? What colors do they come in? Where did you buy yours? And if you dont mind, what did they cost? Are they the only nerf bars you've had on it or have you had others? Do they look better than my Kawasaki nerfs?
Pictures would be great!
My DG front bumper is way better than my Kawasaki front bumper so I asume the DG nerfs would be way better than the Kawasaki nerfs too.

murhpyslaw,
I really like my DG nerf bars. They are very sturdy. They do bolt into the foot pegs. You have to remove the heel guards - they do not work with them because they bolt in the peg the same place the heel guards do. The only netting color is red. I bought them from R&S a Kawasaki dealer here in Richmond, VA. I paid around $140.00 with tax. Well worth the price at the time because I needed them quick, my nephew jumps it alot, he is also the reason for the new axle. They are the only nerf bars I have had on my Lakota. I have seen the Kawasaki's on a Mojave and I like the DG's better for looks and quality (just my opinion though). I'll get some close up pics and post them.

Hope this helps.
