Default Progressive Springs

All this spring talk talked me into ordering some. I found them for $137.95 + 12.36 shipping. I didn't do a lot of research but that seemed to be a good price. I'm hoping they will help front end sag when I put a couple hundred pounds of corn on the front rack.

Partsman2 - Thanks for taking the time to measure that out. Is that 6 & 1/8"? On the side that I belive I have installed correctly the black strut cover is even with the bottom of the spring lock nuts & about 2" from the top of the lower strut mount. We can't be that far off. I must have mis-read your measurement.

goggleyed - I measured from the bottom of the plastic guard to the top of the aluminum strut mount housing where the strut slides in and is held by the two bolts. Right to the top edge of that is 6-1/8". I can't get any measurements that are 2" from anywhere. The plastic guard covers everything but the aluminum spacer the came witn the kit and is held with set screws. It is flush with the top of that. Are you measuring with the full weight of the atv on the suspension or do you have the front end off the ground on a jack? I am measuring with the wheels on the ground and the full weight the atv on the suspension. This would make a big difference in our measurements if we weren't doing it the same.

Partsman2- Using your spec's I have 6-1/8 on the left side & 6-5/8 on the right side. On the left side the strut cover rests just above the spacer & the right side rests on the lock nuts. I didn't mention it before, but I also noticed that the strut cover is rubbing away the black paint on the right shock. Looks like the right side is the suspect.

Thanks again for your help.
