Better take off power. Harder midrange acceration. Works awesome with big tires.
Wheelie easier when you want.

Can you please elaborate on harder midrange acceleration.?
Do you mean harder to get speed up in midrange? And define mid range--Mph please

prairiedog---- Trust me, you'll like the punch it has off the line, with the black spring. Makes the $100.00 belt last longer, too!
Do you know Todd N. from over in Matewan? I have ridden with him a couple times over on Miller's Creek and down on the Tug River near Blue Jacket.
go to H/M about 3 times a year, a least. Maybe we can hook up to ride H/M trails sometime.
How do you like the Mudlites in your terrain? Did you happen to weigh 'em before you mounted them on your wheels?

Funny, TRX 450, that you just asked prairiedog about tire weight. I bet you felt the weight increase when you removed the surtraks and put the outlaws on the back of you machine. I felt it when I put heavier tires on the back.

Default question on black spring

I put a 26" bearclaw on a P400 recently, but I did not weight it. It didn't feel heavy at all.

I have an interest in those BearClaws. I may run THEM(on the rear) instead of Sur-Trax next time around.
What do you think of them in general? You ride much the same type terrain, as I.

Default question on black spring

I ride anything I can get my 650 on.

The claws look like the ideal all around tire. I only rode it for 1 minute on the snow and they were excellent. They have rim guards, and are fairly light. They are hard as heck to seat the beads. They are quite wide too. They aren't as soft as sur traks, so they will probably last a lot longer and not work quite as well on the hardpack. Surtraks were awesome on dry. Bearclaws are better than 589's and mudrunners on hardpack.
