Default Spring Rubbers?

Hey yall
i have an 03 prairie 650, and as all of you know that the front struts can be a little soft, letting the nose dive in the corners. i had an idea today and all you nascar fans know what i am talking about. what if instead of buying preload adjusters for the front, if i could put a spring rubber in the spring and change the compression ratio? maybe they are ready make these for atvs but i have never heard of them. i would probably buy a spring rubber and have to cut it to fit in the spring. i found some for only 20-30$ a piece. a lot cheaper than the preload adjusters. just wanted to hear what you guys think about my idea. thanks, i apperciate your input.

Better than nothing, but the progressive kit is better.

I know that the preload kit would be a more permenat solution, but i thought that preloads only changed the load rating, and ride height. not the compression ratio? i am wrong?

The progressive kit comes with different spring and an adjuster. From what they say it is totally better than just a preload system.
