Old man winter got my battery
#11
You might think about getting a Battery Tender and just leave it on all the time. They are pretty inexpensive and work great. I leave mine on my street bike all winter. Battery is fully charged, so it can't freeze. Take it off, start it up, ride away![/quote]
What is a battery Tender? any links?
Did anyone every try boosting a 650 because there is no way the pull cord is a solution. BTY the battery and quad are fine.

Check out
www.batterytender.com
They are trickle chargers that go to a floating charge once they reach fully charged. I thought every self respecting biker type knew about these! LOL

Does anyone else know the real answer regarding boosting the 650. Four different people that I know (only one that I trust) say it's hard on the bike to boost even though they are the same volts etc.. What size batterytender is recommended?

I have the original Battery Tender, works on all 12 volt batteries. They also make JR version, that is for small batteries like motorcycles and atvs.
I have also heard that it is bad to jump start motorcycles and atvs. But then again, I have seen small sets of jumper cables, specifically for them?
