Dude. That frame HAS to be tweaked in the RF. The upper strut mount(or tower) HAS to be toast. Looks like about the same damage as mine, assuming the frt. diff is OK. You will need RF supension, too. MY guess is $$3K in parts, $1600-$1900 Labor= TOTAL. If you count your time to be worth ANYTHING at all, this ain't worth it. You can buy a NEW one for $6K+tax OTD around here. A used '02 in average shape is worth @$4900-$5200, IMO. You will be very lucky to break even, by fixing the crash uyp and selling it. IMO----NOT worth the trouble(just my opinion, though) I just had to do a bunch of research on P-650 values, and parts/labor prices because I thought that my insurance company was gonna try to "low-ball" me, and total the P-650, saying it was worth very little. These are ONLY my opinions, good luck making up your mind! MY ADVICE: Sit on it, sell units/parts off of it, you will make money. It'll just take some time!

Here is what I get out of the pictures.
It appears it was hit right in the light, mabey a little below with some defintite speed.
This is not a very bad place to be smacked being that alot of the front corners are hollow.
As far as a parts estimate even if you repalce the whole frame (575) all that you have left is possibly the steering shaft (125) front plastic (250) light (100) seat (?) air cover (25) front rack and push bar (?).
I don' t see where you are over 1500 dollars in parts.

Dirty Dawg--- With $4426 in damages, mine looked way better than this bike does. I rode mine 3 miles out of the woods! RF upper frame is VERY lightly made, and is vulnerable. My frame was bent in 2 places. RF, and LR. Mine rolled sideways 8 times down a mountain. NO frontal impact, and it still had frame damage!
BTW--- The racks are REAL expensive, $200 ea end, as I recall. I'd have to look at the bill. The upper bumper or "push bar" is @ $150. Steering stem is @$130.00 I am REAL GLAD that I had insurance!!!!!!!
