650 and snow
#1
I took my prairie out in the fresh snow today. Was doing great til I was trying to ride in snow up to the top of my tires. On the way back I was riding on the snow covered roads and decide to put it in 2wd and open it up. My dad was following me on his quest 500 and said his speedo was at 50 and he was keeping up with me. My speedo was reading 60 so I think I was spinning my tires doing around 50 I'll assume. Had a nice strong wind coming in my face too. I think I would have been better off in 4wd. I'm a little upset he was keeping up with me so well.

Trail blazing/ reopening a trail is harder than following. Put the quest up front and you will have a good look at the tail light on it at idle. BTW the quest/Traxter are great in the snow. Also tire sizes and widths play a role here.
