The "claws" are a great all 'round tire, for a little money!

Those are 26-12-12 on the rear and 26-9-12 on the front. Just got out this weekend to test them out. WOW!! What a difference. I love them. Cost $10/tire to get mounted. I got them from www.4atvtires.com for about $254 to my door.

Way to go, the tires look sweet! What type of terrain did you get the 'claws into so far ??

To you Florida guys, I've ridden Croom numerous times. It's at exit 301 on I-75, the Brooksville exit. I think the sign says rt 98/50 but not totally sure. Its around 30-40 miles north of Tampa. 2600 acres of a variety of terrain, but so many whoops and tight trails that it can be annoying for utility quad riders. I much prefer riding at the Ocala National Forest, which has much more area to ride, and far better trails. Big Cypress down in the everglades is also an awesome place to ride.

Hey Blair, i'm from Truro, how are the trails down there? What is your trail Association called? Bear river is in the valley right?

The 27" 'claws have an extra deep lug, do the 26" too?

Looks nice.

Hey Rincon, trails are cool, I am not all over the place, been on a few. Train tracks will take you from one end to pretty much right up to windsor and beyond. I am not part of any trail assoc. Looks like i found a set of 26 mudlites, will be here friday, so i am going with them.
have fun

The 26" ones have nice tread depth. I am already wishing I would have gotten the 27", oh well neither here nor there. It is done till they get worn out. Not sure on the height, I will measure tonight or tomorrow. I run about 4.5lbs in the back and 4 in the front.

Here's a link to some terrain they have gone through so far. Seem like a very nice tire. Took me places the Big Bear and Sportsman couldn't go.

Click on the following link and then on the 2/22/03 Ride. bearclaw terrain pics

Wheresthemud, when you have time please measure your ground clearence in rear at the drive shaft area. I had the 25" bearclaws put on last Wed, and I am curious to see the difference. I was going to get the 26, but was a little short on cash. I am very pleased with the 25's so far though.

Thanks,

Just remember bigger tire= more weight! My Radial Outlaw( Rear Snow Tires) weigh 34lbs. ea. ,BARE, no wheel! I can feel that 68#'s off of a jump, believe me! Also, the 25's/26's are cheaper than the bigger tires. I like runnin' 26", myself. Go have fun..............................
LETCHER---- You have a P.M.(2/26)
