The Fact is, you are talking about a manufactures accountability? It seems as though there is very little. When they come up with there reason, on a failure, before the customer (valued...I wonder???) can even explain or express his opinion, then thats pretty poor!

I guess your suppose to accept the fact that they will not be accountable for POOR engineering and design, I suppose its cheaper to get the consumer to do all there testing for them? I think they call it trail damage? And just how would Kawi know where anyone drives there Quad? Its everybody's FAULT but theirs!....by the way has anyone ever had their shifter linkage come out of adjustment and take their low range out?

Eh.... I pretty much hate those fender trims.... but too bad they connect to the mudflaps. Why couldn't they just make it out of the same stuff my Lakota's mudflaps came with? Besides that... What is the point of the flares, to now scratch the side of the plastic?? I love kawie though. Always will. Also like honda, not Yamaha

I have not hit trees and cold is not really a problem here. Mine has been breaking from just the wind buffing they get on the open trailers we transport them with to our riding spots . I have replaced several peaces and the new stough breaks just like the old, one of mine is an 02' and the other is an 04' model. I am glad the came up with the brute 650 sra, since I am told its plastic is much better and will fit the prairies.

Well that goes to show the quality......once again its about a company's accountability! they wont go good for their lack of testing and now it has become the consumers problem. They will give excuses as to why the purchaser broke it, never owning up to it.

I have an 02 and had pretty good luck, I got about 3 yrs of hard riding. Then I replaced the 2 front lower fenders and the front sides of the fenders, well guess what it has got cold up here and all 4 pieces cracked and one so bad that I will have to throw it away. I guess that I have found the new plastic worse than original so far. I agree the black plastic isnt very tough to put it mildly
