Sure am glad I have a Prairie. I got stuck a few times but my 4-wheel drive always worked. The sportsman front wheels would engage for a little while and then stop pulling. Was pretty ridiculous. I lifted mine up and out of the ruts to get out when stuck and we tried that on the Sportsman, but that was futile with the weight of that thing. The sportsman had a nice smooth ride, but I sure wouldn't give up the Prairie for it. Sucks having all that weight.
