Hello all, the 700 VFORCE is in northwestern North Carolina, This thing is BIG, looks better in person. My mechanic buddy at the local dealer called this evening 3:00 pm and said it was here so I went to see it in all it's glory. The cross country racers might be happy with this one, it has arm yanking torque and is very,very quick off the bottom end, it will for sure be the holeshot KING with no doubt! For you guys who have rode wheelies on the prarie, when the pr. takes off the power is there then lets go after a little bit, this thing just keeps pulling ,just stab the throttle bring it up, let it back down, and you can bring right back up no problem!! It will hit 40 mph easy (ran out of room) For open trails fire roads stuff like that this will be the machine. The big concern will be the weight, it's good in the parking lot but that don't tell anything, It is kind of stiff sitting still (suspension) but it needs to be due to the monster torque when you get on the throttle. It has a different sound than the prarie it's like it has different lobe profile on the camshafts, a little fine tuning ,pipes,filter,jets, the usual this thig will be a BIG handfull!!! well later, scram..

 

sweeeeet. this thing is gunna rip it up!!! only thing that worrys me is if some dumba$$ gets his hands on one and dus something stupid......remember what happened with the 3-wheelers???? its bad enough every other greeny group on earth wants us gone.

 

does anyone know where they shipped from, it might give me some idesa when mine is going to get here, my dealer said that they would be released nationaly at the same time.

ps. what color was it and how many did they get in on the first shippment, I can't wait

cc1999, I don't know shipping orgin, but I mabey can find out tomorrow. The color was LIME GREEN,BIG LIME GREEN!!!!!!!,,only one on first shipment..later scram

 

Shipping started at lincoln Nebraska, to Greensboro North Carolina, then to my area..... later scram.

 

I talked with kawasaki today and they told me that we would be seeing them landing all across the country over the next 2 weeks, all dealers will be getting one the first go around. There were no color specific shipping info.

 

I sat on one in the dealership today while picking up some foam filter oil for the prairie. Looks and feels pretty cool, still feels tiny compared to the prairie but probably huge for sport quad riders. Looks pretty mean!

I heard from my Ft Lauderdale Kawai guy - maybe a week or two until I get my KFX700

My Georgia Kawasaki guy said he will have one next week but I think Im gonna wait for the local guy
I purchased in advance $5,995 + tax that's $500 off list price - did anyone do better than that?

It seems to be correct - the 700s are on their way! I just received word from my Kawasaki dealer that my KFX 700 is going to be delivered next Tuesday (3/4). Unfortunately, he doesn't know what color quad is being shipped (I want the orange version).
