Mounted Holeshot ATR Tires Today---Problems !
All four are "out of round" (nontechnical term). Two are real bad. The quad is unstable over 30 mph. The steering wheel jerks badly left to right. My first ride was on cement so there was nothing in the lugs. You can watch the tires and tell that they are bad. I put the quad on jackstands and watched the tires again to verify. All of this was done with perfectly clean tires.
The place I bought them said ITP has had QC issues for years and thats it's no problem to replace all four, except of course the time I have to take to unmount them and take them up there, then remount them. I'm happy that ITP stands behind their product. As far as the Mudrunners I replaced, those tires were perfect all the way to top speed. If you spend as much for a quad tire as a car tire then you should get a perfect tire. That's what I got with Goodyear.
I hope the next set of ATR's are right. If not, then they can keep them and I'll remount the Mudrunners. I'll keep you guys posted.
I went for a snow ride behind my house afterwards and as I expected they are not as good as Mudrunners in the snow. It's not even close. I got stuck bad in the same places that the Mudrunners shined. I know that the ATR will not be as good in the snow and mud and I accecpt that.

One of my friends told me that the Honda dealer warned him to avoid ITP tires for a while cause they have had problems with them such as out of round as you have said and also he said something about sidewall problems being too thin in spots, so thin you can push your finger through it! We have not had any problems yet tho and we are running two sets of the ATRs right now.

Mounted Holeshot ATR Tires Today---Problems !
I have a similiar story-
I purchased Blackwater XT 6 ply tires
The first weekend on the trail left me with real issues -
My right front tire was shot - the sidewall needed eleven tire plugs to seal the leak and get me back to the trailer - the left front was equally bad - more plugs in it than Ted Danson's bald skull -
I called ITP - I told them the sidewalls were so weak I could push a pencil through the rubber - and I did, on video.
I called ITP in Calif. spoke to Brett - helpful and understanding dude
He said to shipp the tires to him - rims and all
THEY REPLACED THE TIRES and remounted them, even paid for the shipping to and from
I appreciate their customer service but feel their Q/C needs attention.
All the customer service in the world won't pull me home out of the woods - twenty miles from nowhere. Plus a weekend of riding cut short ...
BTW - the trouble was limited to the fronts - no trouble with the rears - yet
I am thinking that I am not the only one with the trouble - I think a bad batch of rubber
Class action anyone?
