What about a K@N air filter on the '03. If I put a snorkel kit would I get any benefit from the air filter.

Absolutely. The aftermarket air filter ( i use the twin air) and the snorkel made a difference with the 02 models. If the air intake on the 03 is the same these mods will make a noticeable difference in all around performance.

I ordered mine from Bearman, and the only disadvantages about the snorkel is you are waiting a long time for you friends to catch up. I GOT HIT HARD ON UPS on this one, I paid them more than I paid bearman. next time I will get them to ship it to a relative in the states.
It mounts where your snorkel is and you can not even tell that the machine has it

Scotia 650

I think sascach is getting the snorkles in this week. He's a great guy to deal with and thier prices arn't any worse than anywhere else. I talked to him the other day and hes got lots of the black springs in stock as well. He's setting up some sort of online ordering system but for now you can just give him a call. 1-306-747-2213 ask for ted.

Jason, those Broker's fee's will kill you. I get everyone that is able to ship by mail; Canada Post only charges $5 broker's fee's. Anything big I get shipped to my sister's in Vermont, then I pick it up or get it mailed.

My question is what can I do to get more top end speed?
If your running between 58 and 65 mph, consider it normal. The only thing that will give more top end speed will be the new CDI that's coming out soon.

fru,

Thanks for the info, I'm looking for the snorkle and two friends want the black spring. Much appreciated, should save a bunch on UPS and brokerage fees.

Thanks again.

Steve

p.s. Just noticed that he's from the U.S. Do you know if diamondg has a dealer in Canada?

Thanks for all of the info. Sounds like I need a black spring and a snorkel kit. Are the different brands of snorkel kits basically the same? Where is the best place to order the spring and snorkel kit? I live in East Texas. Thanks again for everyones help.
