What is the best sand tires for the 700
#1
The stock tires are 22x11x10's rear and the fronts are 22x7x10, most sand tires are 20x10x8 and 20x10x10's rear, geko's are 21's but if the bike power curve is set up for 22" tires will 20" tires be to much on low end. my p 650 has tones of low and mid but a little short on top. I know the sand takes away a noted amont of power, so I have seen 22" sand tires but not sure of the quality or grip they would give me and not sure if the 700 has the low end to pull the 22" sand tires. I would like to go with staight paddels like I had on my raptor. but my brother swears by his sand skate II's. what do you guys think ???

Hey there little bro. congratts on med school, I picked up my 700 tonight. I have not had a chance to ride it but it sounds awsome. Are you ready for a dune trip. I am planning on going sunday. I will be starting the breakin tomorrow night and maybe saturday over here by my house. I want to be able to lean on it a little this sunday at the dunes. Want to come over and do some racing. No sand tires on it yet, you might have a chance

22X11X10 Extreme haulers 8,9 or 10 paddles (I run 9's on my DS.)
Sounds like the big green bug would do best with 10's with all the low & mid power. You are going to have to sit on the handlebars on the launch but, you should be bikes ahead by the time you are at your top end where the speed/power drops off.

Hey everybody, I imagine any of you that have been checking into putting a set of sand tires on your vforces have run into the same problem as I have: nobody has rims other than the real expensive 12 inch beadlocks designed for the Prarie650.
Just as Info, HighLifter Inc's distributor has ITP T9s in at about 54 bucks apiece in .190. They had 8s, 9s, and 10s. I ordered a set of the Maxxis 4 Snow (do a google search for "4 Snow") on the T9s. My primary ride area is sand, but I have to drive down about a mile of hard pack gravel road then the worst 150 foot quagmire of mud to get to the beach. I have seen the prowedges, which is a nearly identical tire for twice the price of the 4 snow win too many drag races in the sand under the back of Banshees not to believe it is a pretty good tire on a high horsepower bike. So I figured, what the 'ell, if they work great, if not, at least I have some good rims to put the 23 inch Haulers on. I hate the thought of destroying those 100 dollar haulers on that gravel road and in that mud pit full of sticks and stumps. We have tried to find other ways around that hole, but it is the lesser of many other evils.(5" bamboo forest or quicksand at the edge of a swamp are the other options). Highlifter agreed to have them drop shipped to me, so maybe by the weekend. If so, Ill post a mini review of them on the vforce.. Hopefully they will lift the a$$ end up out of the holes I have been trying to get out of on the sand since I got my bike. I will probably not be long looking for a good set of 22 inch by 8 inch front tires as well.. later..
