650 low range!! Please reply
#1
Hey there guys, on my 650 when i am in low range and you start to speed up it makes a clunking sound toward the front half of the quad. I adjusted my linkage so it would not make those sounds when you slow down in low range and that worked well, but it still make a sound when you get in higher rpms in low range, mostly when all four tires are spinning slightly, for example when you are plowing snow or in a snow bank. It sounds like something is trying to dissengage or somthing, i cant tell if its comming from the front diff or the thansmission. Well i know this might not be the easyest to read and understand but please try to reply. Later dudes

I hear you... what it's doing is jumping out of gear right to some type of neutral. I'm thinking where the bolts are on the side of the engine. When they tighted the bolts it went away for a while but it came back this past weekend.
