I have a 03 camo 650 and it hides scratches so well. In fact, it's difficult to scratch it period. I would assume due to the material that they apply to the fenders to make it camo. Definitely go camo. Also, I read that some forum members thought it more brittle. I have not found that to be the case.

 

I parked my camo 650 in the woods during hunting season, after getting down from my tree stand, i couldn't find my 650. I thought someone stole it, but alas, it blended in all too well, I am impressed. (-:
