Default need your yelp please

ATV group - I am new to ATVing. In Oct. I bought an 03 Prairie. While riding through some thick weeds a few times, I've noticed that what appears to be an air filter (about 10 inches behind the front grill), has various debris stuck in it (leaves, fuzz, etc). I can't get at this to get it out. I tried spraying water on it, but it didn't help.

I'm not comfortable with taking it apart to clean, and am looking for some easy help.

Any ideas? Do I need to worry about cleaning this? How about any other regular maintenance (besides changing oil and filter). I'm not overly comfortable with too much maintenance myself, and want to know what is really required.

Thanks for any help.

That's the grill in front of the radiator. If it appears plugged, spray it from the back side with a water hose. Be very careful if you use a pressure washer; you can bend the radiator fins.

if it is the air filter i would not suggest spraying it with water and then taking it for a ride.
