Default 650 EBS problem

OOPS!! Anyways here is my problem. The EBS works flawlessly in high gear, but in low gear when it tries to engage all I hear is what sounds like gears grinding. My dealer thinks that it is the actuator, but he can't explain why it only does this in low gear.

Mine did the same thing but it wasn't the EBS, it was actually the shifter that you move to LOW. Mine came from the factory not adjusted correctly and it was actually trying to come out of gear when you let off the gas -- that's what the grinding is. Your shifter has a nut on it that will allow you to adjust it so that it will go "further" in to LOW and this should solve your problem.

beardog, BadBamaPrairie is right. but you have to be careful not to adjust it too far. Check this link out, should help you out. Shift linkage adjustment

Check out the rest of that website for a ton of info and tips. Nyroc's Kawasaki Prairie Knowledge Base.
