Default Bearclaw and rim gap on stock rims?

I was looking my tires over and there seems to be a gap between where the inside of the tire is and the rim. Not much but it is there. I noticed on the tire that I got remounted it is snug against the rim. Maybe the place I had put them on didn't seat them all the way. Or they needed to get broken in to get them to go flush. Don't know yet, but am going to watch it for awhile.

Anyone else notice a slight gap inbetween the tire and rim lip?

I'll get a couple pics later tonight. It is kinda frustrating seeing that. Might borrow my buddies air compressor and see if I can get them to seat properly. If not I may stop by the place and ask them about it.

Take the inner valve out and pump them up to about 40 psi and let it out real fast. After a few times of this and alot of soap, they should slide on right. Hope this helps. You could also try some sort of strap on the tire when you are inflating. Be careful with bungees though, hehe.
My buddy had the same problem, I put 40 psi in them and nothing happened until we did what I mentioned above.

my gf had the same problem with one of her new tires on her Accord. My mechanic friend did about what roofer said. remount it, put some soap and water around the edges, pump it up to max pressure, and then let it out to normal pressure.

After this she had no more problems with the tire and it sealed correctly.
