V-FORCE is a piece of crap!!!
#1
Hey these things are a joke. According to so many riders on manual clutch rides, the V-Force is the biggest piece of junk to hit the market in years. Automatic clutch, way too heavy, shocks are junk, won't jump, way too big.........What a pig!
I must agree!!!
Mine is way fast, almost too fast. It handles awesome, it has no manual clutch so it obviously can't stay up with even a 300EX, except mine is scary fast!! It must be broken!! Bottom end torque is so strong the front end lifts off the ground by simply blipping the throttle, I never have to pop the clutch or yank on the front end, it just comes up. My V-FORCE is the biggest piece of crap on the market and, well, I really love the look, it's such a crappy look. Did I say how fast it is? I realize, since mine does not have a manual clutch, it is not worthy of being in the same riding area as a manual clutch bike so I need to stay with the utility machines.
It must be a piece of crap, since I don't need to shift it, just gas and go. I really don't think I could hold onto it if I had to shift because it pulls so hard I would probably be pulled off it when I reached for the clutch. How can this be???
Did I say what a piece of crap these things are? I must have gotten a lemon because mine hauls a$$ and just keeps on going. Oh did I mention how well it handles? I don't think so, so let me confirm, this peice of junk really handles great. Let's see someone called them a P-FORCE, well, it is. Everytime I ride it, it scares the P out of me. But mine is a fluke, it must have slipped through quality control and obviously Kawasaki is NOT paying attention to what goes out the door. They have no concern or care about the buying public and what really works. If it had a manual clutch this thing would be torturous to ride, and if it had Honda suspension, it would be smooth and handle great, but nope this thing will never be what all the EXPERTS claimed it would be. It's just not up to being a hardcore race winning machine. Except mine, it is everything I wanted and more. It goes fast, corners great, handles bumps like you are on a freeway. It goes up hills without using much more than idle, traction is great on the Pacific Northwest trails with the stock tires. WHAT'S WRONG WITH IT??
So I guess I'll sell it and get a Polaris 90, what do ya'll think? Nope can't get that, it's an automatic also. 300EX maybe? Nope they are too fast.

Hey BushWached ....
I guess Kawi screwed up let at least two junk V Forces out the door !
This hunk of lead, automatic. shaft drive sled leaves rappys and
preditors looking at the tail light within the first 50 feet
( well not litteraly the tail light ... because that got wipped off in the
first week. I think Kawi should have told me this piece of junk would
stand on end with just little jab on the thumb thing)
Just my luck to buy one so screwed up
I guess I am stuck with it now .... so might as well go ahead and
buy a dual exhaust system so it sounds as junky as it is
PS .... this piece of junk won't go through mud like my P650 either !!!!

You should lay off of the Double Expressos this early in the morning. J/K
Hey, most of the Smack is coming from people who have never even seen one, let alone rode one.
Funny thing, get a load of this. I took my KFX700 in for its first service, and I mentioned that every once in a while, at half throttle it would stutter. This usually happened when it got warmed up during extended rides. It was by no means inhibiting my ability to ride it. So the Service Manager said that he would look it over real good. Mine was the first one that they got, and sold, so I think he just wanted a reason to dig into it and check everything out.
To make a long story short, he contacted Kawasaki, to see if this was something that they have had reported to them from other shops or if it was an isolated thing. Well the Service Manager has been on the phone non stop with Kawi. Everyone from the US Reps and Engineers and even a conference call from a team of Engineers in Japan.
The answer to the question is, NO, this is the first report they had about any stuttering troubles. What are they doing about it? As we speak, a set of New Carbs (Roughly $900+ worth) are on there way to replace the ones that are on it now.
Like I said, it really wasn't an issue, I had Zero complaints about the way my KFX700 was working. I asked the Service Manager if this was normal, and he told me that Kawi has a lot riding on this quad, and they aren't taking any chances on anything, and want to take care of Any issues that might arise.
Makes me happy with my decission even more to know that Kawi is standing behind the KFX700, 100%. Just one more Bonus Point for the KFX700 (The "piece of crap").

Darn!!!!
I think my 650 has some of the same problem. I wish I would of knew this before I bought it. Guess I'll just have to live with the awesome power, excellent handling, and braking.

Curiousity got the best of me the other day when I passed in front of my local Kawi dealer and saw 2 V-Forces parked out front, so I had to stop by and take a close up look. I have a friend who works there and he fired up the orange one to show me how it actually would pull a wheelie easily, etc. I was sceptical to how these quads would perform, but from what I saw they are nice! I have never been one to bash anything, but I guess I am hardcore to the fact that I think sport quads had to be manually clutched and chain driven, but the V-Force seems to be an exception. It really doesn't seem like the quad I want to own because I do prefer to ride MX tracks, but for all around sporting, or cross country racing I think it would be a great quad.
Congrats to Kawasiki for breaking the cycle and getting out of the "norm". It's nice to see new innovations that actually work!
