Default Prairie 700

I talked to my dealer a couple days ago and he said that Kawasaki was putting the motor from the KFX700 in the Prairie 650. Not sure if the motor will be detuned much(dealer didn't think so). They are going by the idea that it is cheaper to make parts for one motor than it is to make them for 2. Dealer said something about ordering them late-may, to recieve them for july. Should be interesting.

They will detune it for sure. The stock 650 motor goes too fast and flip you over backwards without the timing retards.

Hopefully they leave it alone, but they will probably detune it, for "saftey" reasons. All I know is that when I was taught to ride, I was taught the they only go as fast as you push the throttle. Nyroc have you heard anything on the "box"? I was told last week, about 3-4 weeks. The sooner the better.
