Default how to air screws relate to idle screw for tuning?

This is sort of a follow up to the backfires topic. I would also like to thank everyone for their prior help, people in this forum have taught me a lot about tuning my P650.

I have been adjusting my air screws this morning. I have bigger jets, bigger snorkle, nyroc muffler mod, K+N filter, and have covered all the holes in my airbox lid.

I turned my airscrews in until the bike could hardly idle and then slowly turned them out until the bike was ideling fast, then the took them back a 1/4 turn.

My question is what if while the bike is idleing fast, I just turn the idle screw down, leaving the air screws turned out instead. or turn the idleing screw in a little and take my air screws another 1/2 turn out?

I did this a little bit and it seems to run good. Any input?
