Quading in Rocky Point MEXICO
#2
I went there in December 02. Definitly off season, quiet, and few tourist. I brought my P650 with me and was surprised that while driving in the streets is OK, riding on the beach is outlawed. The resorts have staked a claim to the shoreline in town. They WILL chase you down and ticket you. Not a pleasent experiance. Most RV resorts require you to idle or push your ATV into or out of the park.
There is some dunes away from the beach, and possibly better riding away from town. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed my stay. Maybe next time I'll come prepared to venture farther along the shore and explore further inland.
Try Google search for Rocky Point Online or Puerto Penasco for online forums for more information. And enjoy yourself!!

Yeah If you got your atv imported into mexico you can put a mexico plate on it and ride all over the place. I am not sure if it changes on beach laws. They did it cause of spring break.
