I suggest getting a pro design pro flow witha K&N or a Uni, Alba has a kit as well. The stock filter worries me with its seal design. Slip on pipes are all aboout the same , I hear good things about WB, HMF, get the brand you like. Rejet as well.

If you are only going to get a slip-on pipe I would HIGHLY recommend the HMF. The HMF slip-on performs almost as well as some full systems. Like sandneck said, get the filter with adapter and then if you want more mid and top speed, buy the HotCam intake cam which is very easy to install.

Oh by the way, if you plan on someday going to a full system with pipe and header, do not get the Yoshi slip-on because the yoshi header will not fit the slip on.

Yes you would think it would walk all over you but trust me, it won't. I doubt you will beat it with a bone stock bike but you will definetly not get blown away. Put a good pipe, filter, and jet it correctly and tell that 440 to watch out !! It does depend on how well "built" the 440 is though. Good luck with your mods!

I raced a 440ex on a MX track the other week. He had nothing for me! Like Bulldog said pipe, filter, and rejetting and he will not have a chance!

Bulldogz

How do you like that Yoshi exhaust...every dealer and ATV shop i went to (about 6 overall) recommended it ... however on the forums seems like quite a few people dont like them or believe trinity or HMF are far better...your thoughts on the pipes...I have them as well...just put them on and going through the pain of trying to find the right jetting for the SLC Utah area...first sport quad and first set of pipes...so any pros and cons on this pipe or others would be appreciated...will tell you this...even not properly jetted the thing pulls like a banshee since doing the mods...backfiring alot when letting off throttle however...thank
