Lost Bottom End With HMF Duals

Default Lost Bottom End With HMF Duals

You can richen the air screws with out taking anything apart. You just look under the airbox on the right hand side of the bike you'll be able to see the float bowls and the air screws. More than likely you'll have to richen them but you may have to play with them a bit to get them adjusted right.

The best way to know if they are set right is to let the bike warm up and let it idle in neutral, then start turning one of them counterclockwise(rich) until it idle's down (rough) then simply stop and turn the other way(clockwise) 1/2 turn and you're done, do the other carb the same way........

where are the air screws on the V-Force will I know them when I see them, are they the same on both carbs. Thanx

Default Lost Bottom End With HMF Duals

Right in the middle of both float bowel's there are two flat head screw's in a recessed hole there are no other's in a recessed hole, these are the air/pilot screw's.....
