V Force problem- Kawasaki is listening...
The kawasaki reps have not helped my problems on my 03 prairie 650.
the carbs have had several problems if i do not turn off the gas after every stop gas will fill the cyliders.
also the front carb will stop flowing gas and cause the 650 to not idle.
Thanks for the help guys.

Hi novakawa650.
Agreed about the problems getting service fron Kawasaki Canada.
We have 1 owners manual and two service manuals (one serverice manual from the USA and one from Canada).
The owners manual has been accurate so far. However both service manuals
are contradictive.
The USA manual claims 2.5 turns of the air screw on the carburator (from
full). The Canadian service manual has a 1.5 turns from full.
We contacted Kawasaki Canada (never received an answer). Kawasaki USA did
answer us and stated the 2.5 turns. Which in this case is the correct
(2.5 turns) factory setting for thier vm24ss carburetor on a KLF 220.
However both the USA and Canadian manuals and the owners manual, not to mention all the local mechanics don't have a clue as to where the timming adjustment is on the klf220, nor does it list that mysterious sloted bolt
adjustment located on the right hand side (sitting) of the motor.
After the caburetor hint we've never received any replies to inquiries
about kawasaki product from either Kawasaki USA or Canada.
It's one of the reasons we are very very *EXTREMELY* lierly about buying a new Kawasaki ATV.
Thanks for the chat.
