Default Brown Spring For V-Force

I installed the brown polaris spring in my V-Force last night I did not get a chance to ride it but I was wondering the brown polaris spring is alot longer than the v-force spring is that right. I figured maybe that was why it was better but I'm not sure and I'd like some feedback from KevinM on it. Thanx

Another thing about the V-Force when I put in the brown spring I noticed that the belt seems really loose it looked like there was about an 1 1/2" of play but I did'nt have a ruler to measure but I thought it would be tighter.

The deflection on the belt should be .86 to 1.08 " . Sounds like it is shim time. Let me know the results of the brown spring.

Yes it is longer and that causes more pretension, and it will take higher RPM's for the clutch weights to overcome the new spring.
The best way to see your results is to race someone that was pulling you on top and see where you are now compared to before.
