Default T rex 90

i have a t rex 90cc quad..made by madami international llc. i had it running then it died and will not start back up...i can spray a little starting fluid and it will fire but immediately die. i took the carb. to a shop and the mechanic checked it out said it was all good except the float wasnt positioned right, so he adjusted it..told me to try it out..i did and still nothing..i personally think the carb is no good but i dont know...any advice will be helpful..

Welcome to the forum trex90! Id guess the carb is the problem too...Is this a new quad? Used? How long did it run before it died?

it is a 2000 model quad...i had it running for about 30 minutes straight...it ran fine..my mechanic is now saying it could be bad compression or the exhaust being stopped up...but i still think the carb is bad...what do you think?

Do a compression test and remove the pipe and blow air thru it. You need to see if those are the problem or not.

70 is not great compression...maybe enough to run but not run well...
