I have a 1992 LT80 which has been without problems for two years. Last time out of the garage it turned over slowly then just clicking at the starter relay next to the battery. Battery was charged then exchanged for new with like outcome. Replaced relay starter. Turned over quickly a number of times then clicking again. When I place a battery charger on, even the new battery discharges quickly. Plug is wet and sparks. Not turning over enough to start even when primed with starter fluid. Any ideas before I have to pull and check the starter?

You can test the starter by bypassing the relay. Just connect the starter-side leads with a piece of heavy wire. If it cranks normally, you need to check the wiring on the switch/relay side of the circuit. (It's possible your new relay is bad too)

Using jumper cables jump the quad battery to your car and see what happens. You aren't going to run the car battery dead very quickly. If the starter turns fine and the quad starts up then it isn't the starter.
You can also jump the quad battery directly to the starter bypassing all the wiring and the solenoid. Jump the battery plus terminal directly to the starter input post. Jump the battery minus to the frame of the starter. Now the only two players are the battery and the starter. Everything else is out of the picture.
