we bought a eton 90 two years ago but then did not touch it as the boy was a litttle frightend the bike was second hand of a lad who has since left the twon. I do not no how old the bike is or if it is a 2 stroke or 4 stroke engin is their anyway to tell

Without seeing it, I'd say 2006 or earlier it's a 2 stroke, after that 4.

If you have the vin number, what is the 10th digit? Should be a letter. Can tell what year it is from that.

 

The tenth digit is a 6 I take that means it is 06 thank you if this is correct

 

It could be, but with the imports it's hard to say.




Here's a site you can put the vin # in and it may work. Some of the chinese/taiwan imports don't.

 

Does it have an automatic oil injection, as in you have to put 2 stroke oil in it? If there is no oil injection it is a 4 stroke.
