We are new owners but the quad is used. The prevous owners had not used it in several years. The sparkplug is missing so if anybody knows what kind we would it need's a 49cc Cobra Mini Quad. Also, the fuel ratio and oil type. We have never owned this size of quad and nobody that we know is familar with it either. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

Are you saying the quad was stored for a few years with no spark plug in it? thats not good, dirt and moisture could have gotten into the combusion chamber, to be safe, I would dump a teaspoon of 2 stroke oil down the plug hole and gently turn the motor over to lube up the piston and the cylinder to make sure the rings don't stick and score the cylinder. I tried to Google some info for the type of spark plug, but didnt see much, maybe if you try it with the model or serial number, it might help. Also, you could go to a parts store and see if they have a listing for that motor for plugs, most places have quad use catalogs for their spark plugs. Most mix ratios are around 32-40:1, Amsoil 2 stroke oil can be run at 50:1.
