my son bought this for his son.It ran great until they washed it off.We figured out it blew a head gasket.So my son replaced the engine with a new one.It still would not run above an idle.So he ordered a new carb for it and it still will not run above an idle.This thing has me baffled.I have searched the net to find help with this problem with no luck.I'm thinking maybe an electrical problem but not sure.HELP

 

so the slide moves inside the carburetor? the throttle cable actuates and recoils back to idle position? is the cable connected inside of the slide of the carb? wow, curious.

could the pipe plugged? Sometimes there is a screen in the end of the exhaust that gets gummed up.

 

It only has a couple hours of run time on it scents brand new exhaust is clear.Really dont know why this thing will not run above idle.

 

yes we checked carb throttle it is connected to the piston in the carb

 

I guess we're back to electrical. Sorta makes sence since it started after a washing.
