hello i was wondering if i can put a 7 pole stator in a kasea 50cc skyhawk 2 stroke,it comes with a 6 pole, the reason i ask is because a trust worthy site (scrappy dog scooters) has parts for jog minarelli type atv`s but the stator they sell is 7 pole same wiring as mine,and i don`t want to buy one from a@j parts because of the price difference, i also don`t want to buy from ebay for fear of having to deal with junk produt, any help would greatly be appreciated, or if you guys know where i can order one from i will appreciate it very much.

I don't understand this pole thing (im not a elec guy).
Any stator I've seen has 2 wires comming out of it.
Do you mean the CDI or coil?

 

the atv stator has 6 poles wrapped in copper, they work as an alternator, the wiring coming from it is a 2 wire plug and 3wire plug, what stator are you referring to?
