Man I tried everything I can. I keep pryin I'm gonna bend the coned part that the belt sits on. And I'm not about to do that lol. It can stay there. It spins freely. I'll just sand down the inside to make it smooth since it's got a bunch of surface rust.

As for those springs for the shoes...

So I got a little curious and wanted to see how close the shoes are to the drum. And. Any other set up like this I've taken apart there's a decent amount of room between the shoes and the drum itself. The picture below, there's almost no room at all. Is this correct? Or is the drum not the correct one? I took the springs out just to see where it sat.

The shoes/spacing is fine.. BUT, You still have the drive hub (thing with splines) stuck to the clutch hub. Drop that on the floor and get it to fall off. There will be a fiber disc under it. All that has to be free.
I'd suggest looking at a dealer parts fiche so you can see the parts and how they go.
PM me w/address and I'll get you those springs.

Sent you a PM with my address.

I'm going to work on getting that clutch hub off again. It's been a hectic past 2 days. Feels like a week has gone by!

Finally got it off and cleaned up. Now I'm waiting on all the parts to put everything back together. Hopefully now when it's back together, nothing else will break!

Got the parts and got them in. Everything is moving smoothly now!

Now all that's left is the springs for the shoes and it will be good to go!

Hey LT80. I was wondering if you were still around? Tried sending a PM and didn't hear back yet. Was wondering the status on those springs.
