Unhappy Eton Viper 70 has me stumped

I just rebuilt a viper 70 because the compression was low, and a rebuild kit for this quad is cheap. So I finished it, made sure I put the piston in the right way, oiled everything as I was assembling it, and it will not start. Only will it backfire out of the exhaust every once in a while while I am cranking it over. It has good spark, is full of fuel, air filter is clean, and i just cleaned the carb. Any ideas on what may be wrong?

Plug getting wet?
I'd check the compression (yes I know it's new).

Yep the plug is getting wet. I've even tried squirting fuel directly into the combustion chamber and it still only backfires. I guess I'll check the compression today and let you know.

It only has 25psi of compression. What would you recommend I do.

I'd get your oem cylinder bored to a oem piston.
No more Wuhan specials.

OK. Did you get a bigger piston and have the cylinder bored to it?
