Default lt80 reeds

Some think reeds help a LT alot. I have not proven them to help much. The biggest improvement is that the stock reeds are metal and WILL BREAK!. Thus a bore and piston is needed prematurely.Fiber reeds dont seem to break, and if they did,I doubt any damage would accure.
I make my own.

I've been thinking about putting new reeds on the LT80. Not really a performance deal just preventive maintenance. They have some on e-Bay for $19. reeds on e-Bay. Are these the right reeds? Are they any good? Is that price fair or can someone get me some at a better price? Thanks!!! Jack, when you say fiber do you mean fiber glass or carbon fiber? What are you making yours' out of? How was your trip?

Boyesen has a "store" on their website. $15.95 for LT80 reeds. Model #668. They mail them to you to save on shipping, less than $3.00 to ship.
