Default lt80

can anyone tell me how tight to make the rear axle nut on a 99 lt 80 seems to have a little play in it but don't want to make it to tight

Default lt80

The Suzuki manual says to use thread lock to the threaded part of axle lock nut. Also it calls for 72.5 to 115.5 lb-ft of tourque.

FWIW, "LT80" has a ton of experience on these LTs, he may offer a different answer. You may want to wait and see if he replies.

Default lt80

Threadlock is a good thing.I tighten it till there is no plas,yet I dont over tighten the first nut.
I wrap the threads and nut with electrical tape when done.Sometimes they dont want to stay tight. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

ok guys thanks a million wiill def use the elect tape as it as come loose before
