Replacing a pulley half 2004 Eton Viper
#1
Does anyone know how to disassemble the rear pulley on an eton viper. I am able to take the
pulley assembly off the bike and remove the clutch, but then I have no idea how to get the pulleys
halves apart. Thanks in advance for your help

pull the sleeve off the pulley. This is the piece that the pulley spring sat against.
Remove the two pins from the ramp grooves
slide the two pieces apart.
switch seals and o-rings
Re-grease and re-install.

You were right. The sleave just slipped right off. Peace of cake after that. Only one
problem. The Polini pulley half I ordered is the wrong size. Just a little bit too big. The
sleave won't fit back over it and when assembled it is kinda loose. Any ideas?

That is the problem with either trying to go direct to a scooter company to buy your parts or going to a "ATV" shop that should not be in the business of selling parts for these minis.
