LT80 smoking alot till very warm - ideas ?

LT80 smoking alot till very warm - ideas ?
I needed to take the clutch side cover off my daughter's 2002 LT80.
After putting it back together it smokes ALOT till very warm.
Did I put something together wrong ? There is a little drive "gear" that
turns the oil pump - could I have put it in backwards and caused this ?
Any ideas ?

Did you take the pump apart? I can't imagine being able to put it together wrong tho.
I guess that I'd do the standard recommendation of eliminating the oil injection anyways. Pull the black plastic piece off the front clutch and use pre-mix. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] Plug off the oil line. See if that helps the smoke problem.
