I got my Hp300 last march and have about a 700 miles on it and it performs like a champ. Its deffinetly the nicest riding quad ive been on and ive rode most of them out ther. The power and reliabilty seem real good havnt had any problems with the motor. although its getting ready to go to motowest for a pipe and port job. should be puting out around 60 horses after that, cant wait for it to get warm and start riding every weekend. Parts are pretty easy pay shipping instead of tax. Dealer has them shipped right to my house. not much need for after market its got it all from the factory!!

Im a convert to the GAS GAS all the way!!

i havent heard much good out of the 450 nor have i known anyone with one, the dealer around here won't carry the 450's but i love my 300 getting port and polish real soon maybe a big bore kit but its got plenty power stock but i want more, suspension needs a little work revalving of shocks is all it really needs, I had a lot of minor problems that happen from mx racing but nothing to major

i was at the show and went anbd talked to gas gas also got some info on what is limioted on my 2 stroke so found ways to make it faster, the 4 strokes are ultimately the same machine. he swore that all the problem from the previous year had been resolved and proven to work, the 2 stroke now has reverse with few minor adjustments.

Oh yea i have about 1200 miles on it now and the top end still looked brand new could still see hone marks from factory just a little carbon on the piston .

i'm curious how the motowest kit turns out. the unfortunate thing is that it requires you to run race gas.$6+/gallon isn't fun in my book.
i'd be interested in doing hop-ups that don't require race gas on the 300... anyone? i already have the LTR jet kit, powervalve cover, case saver & waterpump impeller. i've removed the flywheel weight(magnets) of the alternator, and all associated wiring... next??

secondly, is anyone running a steering stabilizer on thier GG? after loosening the steering by putting shims in the upper mount, i think that's the next thing i need... i get a lot more feedback through the bars, but it requires less effort to steer.

BTW- the MX-tech suspension is sweet, it just needed a few clicks of compression & rebound to make it what i liked. after putting it on, getting through tech at the GNC was a little tougher though.

Dual - yea that was one of the reason I almost didnt do it. after talking with them, sound like if you can get octan up around a 100 your good to go so a 50-50 blend of premium 92 and 112 race fuel will be the trick and that would put me @ about $3.25 to 3.50 a gallon. So thats a little more reasonable when im burning about 10 to 15 gallons a weekend in the dunes. But 20 hp thats a lot of reasons for the spendy gas!!

Ill keep every one posted to how it works out, nice to hear the suspension works good. What kind of $$ did that run?
