Default help 4 year olds 1st quad..eton??

Resale stinks on them and you are much better off to stay with a japanese model or main manufacturer..

toofast can you expand on this statement.

As far as parts, it sounds like a dealer problem more than an E-Ton problem, I have never had a part take more than 3 days. Thats from time of order to my door. I am half a country away.

my 2 cents

Well to begin the race track proves nothing for reliability and craftsmanship and I do know plenty My statements are the truth .. I have better things to do then lie about a youth quad when its NOT even my child... They are taiwan made and Dallas area dealers and Houston stay away from those...Why is that? Since you guys seem to know way too much. They are cheaper metal (thickness) , low budget parts , whichare hard to find and not a very good machine so, STUDY UP My FRIENDS.... Resale speaking to Mr. expand on this....Take a 5 yr old eton and a 5yr old japanese manufactured quad and see which one holds a stronger market and yes take in mind that the Eton's are hundreds less to begin ...WHY? CHEAP PARTS ETC>>>>> Don't question my knowledge and check the tracks here and you will see a mother load of TRX90 , LT80 , LT50 Not eton!!! Wake up guys , I was not trying to offend you , just letting someone know what they are really getting into...do some more research...

My .02, Bought Viper 90, MY girls 8yr, 60lbs and 6yrs, 30ibs(Tiny) Never rode before, turned throttle limit way down for first ride. Both had it wired in15 mins and although wanted foot brake they had hand brake down just as quick. They and I love it. Electric start, they start it, key(u control it) brake lights, Can see when they use brakes. Really good power, stock tires still climbs sand dunes even at thottle limited 1/2. They raced Raptor 90? and LT 80 and won. Rear disc brake works great and easy for even 30lbder to pull.2005 even has reverse. Check all threads only bad rap is from earlier posts. Ask others, I paid more than i wanted 2 because not every dealer sells them but I'm I happy!!! More questions?,just ask.

Gee toofast, All I did was ask a question. Did you wake up on the wrong side of the bed or what.
Checking the NADA website, it looks like your LT80 and TRX90 run about the same on value. Only pointing out what I see.

I know here the yamaha and Honda dealers don't even carry their mini's, they sell either E-Ton or Kasea.
Must be something about it.

Default help 4 year olds 1st quad..eton??

Hi, Monny4wheel,

For my Four year old daughter's birthday, I got her a mini-Rex (50cc) with the remote control. I have been very happy with the purchase.
I have taught many young children to ride, and the number one concern is safety. That wireless remote works, and allows the young ones to learn without much worry. You can adjust the throttle, but it is only effective on FLAT terrian. I like the full footboards, and the auto tranny. No suspension, but it wont tip over as easy. I dont recommend it for rough terrian. As far as outgrowing the unit, if I every wanted to part with it, it seems you cant lose money becuase of the demand and inflation. Children under 12 all seem to enjoy this quad.

I also have a Yamaha Moto 4 with the 80cc. It's another good starter quad, and will stay usable and enjoyable far longer than the mini-rex, but it is not as safe. The 80cc moto 4 (used about $1400) has the throttle limiter, auto clutch, 4 cycle, battery start only, and is very very well made.

My nine year old son uses the Moto 4, and my daughter now 6 uses the Mini rex. When the time comes, she will move up to the Moto 4, and I will sell the Mini rex and get my son a larger quad.

Have fun with your purchase

Who pissed in toofast's CHEERIOS today.

pedal that crap to someone else...you can't handle the fact that the so called "OFF BRANDS" are better all the way around.

Please do not try to insult my intelligence. You Sir, are in need of some information. Look accross the country and see who's winning what, and what quads they are on.

Last time I checked the United States of America did not start in Dallas and end in Houston. I believe you do have dealers in that area that pedal some of these junkie quads you claim to have so much knowledge of.

I also noticed you are selling your LT50...you must be looking to upgrade to a Kasea, Polaris or an ETON. You may need some help starting your new quad...the whole key thing might be an issue for you. Oh and be careful going over bumps seeing as how you will be getting a quad that has an actual suspension in it.

goodluck to you!

The race track tells nothing for reliability and craftsmanship eh?! Dammit! Here I been wasting my time at the nationals for almost 10 years and local racing for 13 years. 500 races down the drain. Here I thought that I learned how and where to support LT80 cases at the races.I even thought that I developed and proven a national calibur race motor at the races. But NO,,, I guess I didn't learn a thing. And nothing proven.
I guess Nascar, Superbike, BikeMX, etc. will all be shutting down cuz the darn fools thought that what won on Sunday sold on Monday. Stupid rich zillionairs! What were they thinking??

I'll speak the truth for ya. Listen up (everyone).... THEY ARE ALL GOOD!!!!!!!
What one lacks, it makes up for in other places. Same but different is what I say. I have a eton90 in my garage right now and when I'm done it'll kick butt like my LT80 motors. I still think it's the rider.
Whats the best machine? The one you buy for your child!

Resale value?? What ya think we're dealing with here? Mercedes Benz?Unless you have the national #1 plate on your miniquad, then the resale stinks on all of them! They're money pits.

So They stay away from tiawanese junk in Texas. They stay away from road salt too, (I came thru that ice storm between El Paso and Ft. Stockton 3 weeks ago there) neither makes sence to me.
And whats with the goats in Texas? I saw sheep, and I can understand why a tall texan needs a sheep now and then... But goats?
I knew a guy that got mad at his daughters BF cuz she accidentally got pregnant "again". He took his Yugo and rammed the BF's car time and time again and still drove home. $500 in parts...

Common dude, sorry to pick on ya, but your fact is anothers opinion. Just like me. These are my opinions, and I'm sure that I'm wrong.
I think you need to get out of Texas and go on a road trip. I'll pick ya up next time thru!
I hope ya see the humor intended in all this

NOW,, the topic starter wanted opinions..Where were we?
